The construction mounted to the roof girders, folds forward and backward with an electric drive. The supporting structure consists of welded lattices which are made of closed steel profiles, knuckle joined in such a way so the construction stays stable during dynamic strains and still provides the ability to fold forward and backward.The construction is always individually adapted to the object.
The lifting of the construction is based on an electric drive ( Somfy type tubular engine with power of 450W ) that is being set in motion by two-leveled switch or by a remote control. There is a possibility to provide a synchronized system for all of the sport devices which are electrical controlled ( one remote for all devices in different configurations ). The system of steel wires is winded onto the engine drum and that allows to fold and unfold the construction. After the unfolding the backboard is being set in a vertical position and the ring in the height of 3,05 m. If the construction has the height adjustment mechanism between 2,6 m to 3,05 m, the backboard construction with the ring can be regulated in this range as well, not depending on the carrying construction of the structure.
The carrying beams are made of 120x80x3 mm steel profiles, the vertical frame 80x40x2 mm profile along withe the braces of 30x30x2 mm profile. The tilting frames are made of 40x40x2 mm profiles along with the braces of 30x30x2 mm profiles. All of the elements are made of powder painted S235 steel type. The steel wires with thickness of 4 mm are winded onto the engine. The Somfy engines LT60 Taurus, the length of complete drive 705 mm to the octagonal fi 70 mm tube, power 230V/50Hz. The rotating moment 120 Nm, speed 12 rotations/min., power take 450W, the protection level IP44. The beam - frame connectors are made of sheet metal (thickness 8 mm), joined by fi 20 mm bolts. This construction has the Polish Basketball Association Certificate.
